Then fill a plastic bag with white vinegar. Attach the bag to the showerhead by slipping the top of it underneath the rubber band. Wait one hour, then remove the bag and turn on the water to flush. Polish with a soft cloth.

Ammonia is a powerful cleaning agent; therefore, you need to dilute it in order to protect your shower wall panels. Mix 1-part ammonia with 2-parts water in a spray bottle. Apply it liberally on your shower panels, then wipe it away a soft cloth.

Use a window scrubber and water to thoroughly clean off the paste mixture. Then dry the shower doors with the window squeegee and a paper towel. Check to make sure the soap scum is completely gone. I was super excited when I didn't see any hard water stains or soap scup left on my shower doors.
